The doors of Latu Devta located in Dewal of Chamoli opened on Monday. CM Dhami was also present in the temple on the auspicious occasion of Kapatodghatan. CM Dhami worshiped Latu Devta and wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.

CM Dhami said that the opening of the doors of Latu Devta is not just a religious ritual but a festival of renaissance of our faith, tradition and Sanatan culture. The CM said that under the guidance of PM Modi, our government is making efforts to make Uttarakhand the spiritual capital of the world.
Schemes being run for the revival of religious places: CM
CM Dhami said that today schemes worth hundreds of crores of rupees are being run for the revival of religious places of the state. It is the result of these efforts that today a historic presence of devotees is being seen at all the major pilgrimage sites of the state including Chardham Yatra.
