These days a sensational claim is going viral on social media. It is being claimed that radiation has leaked in one or more nuclear plants of Pakistan. Some pictures and videos are also being shared. In which people are shown wearing masks or in some kind of medical emergency like situation. But is there any truth in this (Nuclear Leak)? Let’s know.
Nuclear Radiation spread in Pakistan!
When we investigated this claim, we found that there has been no official confirmation of this till now. Neither has the Pakistan government given any statement in this regard. Also, neither has any press release come from its Atomic Energy Commission that radiation leak has spread in Pakistan.
No confirmation from WHO and IAEA
Even at the international level, organizations like IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) and WHO (World Health Organization) have not confirmed any kind of radiation leak or nuclear threat. If there had really been a serious leak, then these organizations would have issued an alert first.
The Air Force also denied the attack on Kirana Hills
Even the Indian Air Force has rejected the reports that it had bombed Kirana Hills in Pakistan.
So if you are told somewhere on social media that radiation has leaked in Pakistan’s nuclear plant, then understand clearly that this news is completely without any proof for now.
