Uttarakhand government appointed Pushpa Bhatt as Additional Advocate General, 10 new advocates were also included

The Law and Justice Department of Uttarakhand State has promoted Deputy Advocate General Pushpa Bhatt, bound to plead the cases of the government in the Uttarakhand High Court, to the post of Additional Advocate General. Apart from this, permanent advocates BS Parihar and Vishwa Deepak Vishen have been promoted to the post of Additional Chief Permanent Advocate, Brief Holder Criminal Pramod Tiwari to Assistant Government Advocate and Brief Holder Civil SS Chaudhary to the post of Permanent Advocate.

Apart from this, the government has bound 10 new advocates to plead the cases of the government. In which Rahul Verma has been made Additional Advocate General. While Vaswanand Moulkhi has been appointed as Deputy Advocate General, Tumun Nainwal, Dinesh Chauhan and Nandan Singh Kanyal have been appointed as Assistant Government Advocates. Apart from this, NK Papnoi has been made Permanent Advocate, Vijay Khanduri and Chitrarth Kandpal have been made Brief Holder Criminal while Chandrashekhar Joshi and Tarun Mohan have been made Brief Holder Civil.

The Governor’s approval has been given on the order issued by the Uttarakhand Government Justice Section. It has also been said that this is a professional bond. It is not an appointment to any ‘civil post’. This bond can be terminated by the state government at any time without any prior notice and without giving any reason. While the bound advocates can also terminate it at any time by giving written notice. According to the condition, during this period, the advocates will not accept the bond of any other person / institution in any type of case in any court against the state of Uttarakhand nor will they give any legal advice against the state.
