The incident took place on Thursday evening. According to information, a young man had come to Rishikesh from Delhi with his female friend. In the evening, both of them went to the river bank. The young man went a little further into the water. During this, he was swept away in the strong current.
Search for the young man continues
As soon as the information was received, the SDRF team reached the spot and started a rescue operation. The search for the young man is going on at all possible places with a raft. Till the time of writing the news, no trace of the young man has been found.
