Landslide on Yamunotri walking path
The incident happened on Monday evening at 4 o’clock. There was a sudden landslide at Nau Kanchi near Bhairav temple on the Yamunotri walking path. Some passengers are reported to have been caught in the sliding. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police and SDRF team reached the spot for rescue.
Rescue operation continues at the spot
Rescue operation is going on at the spot. It is being told that the rescue team has recovered the body of a 10 to 11 year old girl resident of Delhi. While two devotees have been rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment. DM Prashant Kumar Arya is keeping an eye on the accident.
