BJP workers across the country are celebrating the death anniversary of Jan Sangh founder Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee as Balidan Diwas. In this sequence, Balidan Diwas program was organized in Kumaon Mandal BJP Division Office Haldwani. Higher Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat reached the program. In the program, Minister Dhan Singh Rawat held a meeting with RSS workers and discussed in detail the biography of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. During this, Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was the youngest Vice Chancellor of the country at the age of 33. He was the first minister in the history of India who rebelled against the Nehru government. He traveled to Kashmir to ensure that ‘two heads, two flags’ will not work in one country and Nehru got him arrested and he died mysteriously.
He said that the sacrifice of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee cannot be forgotten. Regarding this, the Bharatiya Janata Party is celebrating it as Balidan Diwas across the country today.
He said that the new generation is now being told about the biography of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. He said that now the students of schools and colleges will be told through education how the emergency was imposed in the country? How did the then Indira Gandhi government misuse power? All these will be taught in schools and colleges. He said that the biography of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is already included in the curriculum. But now his achievements will also be told in school programs.
