The effect of continuous heavy rain in the capital Dehradun is now visible in residential areas as well. Due to continuous rain since morning, two houses built on the banks of the river in Kargi Grant area collapsed, causing chaos in the area. Thankfully, there was no loss of life in the incident.

The administration team has expedited the action of sending the local people to safe places. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, Dehradun SSP Ajay Singh himself reached the spot and took stock of the situation with the officials.
10 houses evacuated as a precaution
Let us tell you that due to heavy rain, two houses built on the river bank have completely collapsed. While cracks have appeared in two other houses located nearby. From the point of view of safety, 10 nearby houses have been evacuated as a precaution. Also, people have been sent to safe places. PAC force has also been deployed on the spot to control the crowd.
