Singh further said that I have been saying for a long time that there should be a discussion from the booth level to the senior leaders regarding the selection of the state president. We need a leader who is aggressive, who talks about Hindutva. The people of Telangana like leaders who talk about Hindutva.

However, he also made it clear that he will remain a supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that whether I remain in BJP or not, I will always be a supporter of Modi ji, Amit Shah ji and Yogi ji. Singh said that the party workers also want the state president to be someone who openly talks about Hindutva.

It is worth noting that T Raja Singh, MLA from Goshamahal assembly seat of Telangana, who is always in the news for his outspoken statements, resigned from the party expressing dissatisfaction with the appointment of Telangana BJP in-charge. After his resignation, there has been a stir in the party. In his resignation letter, Singh also openly expressed his displeasure. He wrote in the resignation letter that I am writing this letter with a heavy heart and deep concern. He said that Ramachandra Rao is set to be appointed as the new state president of BJP for Telangana.
