T Raja Singh, MLA from Goshamahal assembly seat of Telangana, who is in the news for his statements and outspoken style, has resigned from the primary membership of BJP. His resignation has brought tremendous heat in the politics of the state. In such a situation, while talking to the media for the first time after resigning, Singh spoke his mind. During this, he also mentioned the reasons for his displeasure with the BJP. He said that I have been constantly telling the party that BJP government can be formed in Telangana. The workers at the grassroots level are working hard. But when it comes to deciding the state president, the party should see what kind of leader is being given the responsibility.

Singh further said that I have been saying for a long time that there should be a discussion from the booth level to the senior leaders regarding the selection of the state president. We need a leader who is aggressive, who talks about Hindutva. The people of Telangana like leaders who talk about Hindutva.

However, he also made it clear that he will remain a supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that whether I remain in BJP or not, I will always be a supporter of Modi ji, Amit Shah ji and Yogi ji. Singh said that the party workers also want the state president to be someone who openly talks about Hindutva.

It is worth noting that T Raja Singh, MLA from Goshamahal assembly seat of Telangana, who is always in the news for his outspoken statements, resigned from the party expressing dissatisfaction with the appointment of Telangana BJP in-charge. After his resignation, there has been a stir in the party. In his resignation letter, Singh also openly expressed his displeasure. He wrote in the resignation letter that I am writing this letter with a heavy heart and deep concern. He said that Ramachandra Rao is set to be appointed as the new state president of BJP for Telangana.

Raja Singh further wrote that this decision has come as a shock and disappointment not only to me but also to lakhs of workers, leaders and voters who have stood with the party in every ups and downs. At a time when the BJP is on the threshold of forming its first government in Telangana, such a choice raises serious doubts about our direction.
