Uttarakhand: BJP released the list of its candidates, Campti became the district panchayat hot seat

These days, there is a lot of activity regarding the Panchayat elections in Uttarakhand. The nomination process has started from July 2, while the process of election of three-tier Panchayat in the state, which includes District Panchayat members, Area Panchayat members and Gram Pradhan, as well as ward members, has also started with the nomination process.

At the same time, today, a lot of brainstorming was done at the BJP headquarters located at Balbir Road, Dehradun, regarding the final list of supported candidates for the Panchayat elections.
Finally, late in the evening, BJP has released the district-wise list of its supported candidates for the Panchayat elections. In which many such candidates have been fielded as candidates. Who were working hard for the party.
Let us tell you that in Uttarakhand, voting will be held on July 24 in the first phase and on July 28 in the second phase. At the same time, the counting of votes will be done simultaneously on July 31. In such a situation, tremendous enthusiasm is being seen to form the village government.
Earlier, the dates were announced by issuing the notification of Panchayat elections, but the Nainital High Court stayed the election process on the issue of reservation. Due to which the State Election Commission had to postpone the election program.
At the same time, after the stay of the Nainital High Court was lifted, the dates of the election have been announced again. For which the nomination process has started from July 2. Which will continue till July 5 at 4 pm.
Nomination papers will be scrutinized from July 7 to July 9. The date for withdrawal of nomination has been kept on July 10 and 11 from 10 am to 4 pm. This time the elections of three-tier panchayats will be held in two phases.
At the same time, the election symbol for the first phase will be allotted on July 14. Whereas, the first phase of voting will be held on July 24. Similarly, the election symbol for the second phase will be allotted on July 18. Whereas, the second phase of voting will be held on July 28.
Elections are to be held for 66,418 posts in 12 districts of Uttarakhand. In this, elections will be held for 55,587 posts of member Gram Panchayat, 7,499 posts of Pradhan Gram Panchayat, 2,974 posts of member Kshetra Panchayat and 358 posts of member Zila Panchayat.
Elections are to be held for 66,418 posts in the state except Haridwar district, for which 8,276 polling centers and 10,529 polling stations have been set up across the state.
The number of voters in 12 districts of Uttarakhand is 4,777,072. These include 2,465,702 male and 2,310,996 female voters. Apart from this, 374 other voters are also included.
Compared to the year 2019, this year i.e. in 2025, the number of voters has increased by about 10.57 percent. That is, 4,56,793 voters have increased. Therefore, these voters will decide the fate of the candidates.
At the same time, the color of the ballot papers has also been decided according to the post regarding the Panchayat elections. Under this, white color ballot paper has been decided for the Gram Panchayat member, green color ballot paper for the Pradhan.
Similarly, there will be a blue color ballot paper for the area Panchayat member. Whereas, pink color ballot paper has been decided for the district Panchayat member.
According to the State Election Commission, 95,909 officers / employees will be deployed for voting and counting. Under this, 11,849 employees will be deployed as presiding officers at the polling station, 47,910 employees will be deployed as polling officers at the polling station.
Apart from this, 450 officers will be deployed as Sector Magistrate / Zonal Magistrate / Nodal Officer / In-charge Officers. At the same time, 35,700 security personnel will also be deployed at the polling stations.
5,620 vehicles will be deployed for the Panchayat elections. This will include 3,342 light vehicles and 2,278 heavy vehicles. 55 general observers and 12 reserved observers will also be deployed in the Panchayat elections. In this way, 67 observers will be deployed.
In the first phase, elections will be held in 49 blocks of Kumaon and Garhwal. In which voting will take place in 23 development blocks of Kumaon and 26 development blocks of Garhwal.
At the same time, in the second phase, elections will be held in 40 blocks of Uttarakhand on July 28. In which voting will take place in 18 development blocks of Kumaon and 22 development blocks of Garhwal.
