Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan has issued strict instructions to ensure that employees under various departments in the state get timely promotion and has instructed the officers not to show any laxity in this. The Chief Secretary said that all the employees who are eligible by July 1 should be compulsorily promoted. So that not only these employees can get the benefit of promotion on time but also the remaining employees can be promoted and recruited as per the vacant posts.

The state government has been saying that thousands of vacant posts in the state should be filled as soon as possible. It has been said that about 25000 posts are vacant under various departments. But after completely settling the cases of promotion under various departments in the state, there are many more such posts which will be vacant and the youth can get a chance to get recruited on them too.

The Chief Secretary has also given strict instructions to the officers to register the annual confidential entry of employees and officers in the state. During this, he also expressed his displeasure for the officials’ procrastination in this. After this, it has been made clear to the officials that there should be no laxity in entering the annual confidential entry and the reporter and review should enter their comments in the ACR (Annual Confidential Report) as soon as possible, so that the employees get the ACR (Annual Confidential Report) on time. Apart from the government, it has been asked to be implemented at the departmental level as well and the situation has also been clarified so that the employees do not face problems due to this.
