In line with the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the Election Commission has issued a show cause notice to 6 registered unrecognized political parties in Uttarakhand, which have been inactive for the last 6 years. All these are the parties that have not participated in a single election in the last six years from the year 2019 till now.

Election Commission sends notice to 6 political parties of Uttarakhand

The Election Commission has issued a show cause notice to 6 unrecognized political parties registered in Uttarakhand, which have been inactive for the last 6 years. All these are the parties that have not participated in any election in the last six years from 2019 and whose physical addresses of offices have not been found. The parties have to respond to this notice by 5 pm on July 21.

The Election Commission of India will have the final decision

Let us tell you that among the 42 unrecognized political parties (RUPP) registered in Uttarakhand, there are many parties which are not able to fulfill the necessary conditions to remain a registered unrecognized political party. In this regard, 6 such parties of Uttarakhand have been identified. The decision to remove these parties from the final list will be taken by the Election Commission of India.

  • Bharatiya Jankranti Party – 12/17 Chakkhuwala, Dehradun
  • Hamari Janmanch Party – 1/12 New Chakkhuwala, Dehradun
  • Maidani Kranti Dal – Masjid Wali Gali, Majra, Dehradun
  • Praja Mandal Party – Barthwal Niwas, Sheetla Mata Mandir
  • Marg, Lower Bhaktiyana Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal
  • Rashtriya Gram Vikas Party – 62 Civil Line, Roorkee Haridwar
  • Rashtriya Jan Sahay Dal – 112-New Connaught Place, Dehradun
