Uttarakhand: Dhami’s dream project was completed, he got the scheme approved from the center during his MLA tenure, inaugurated it after becoming the Chief Minister

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday inaugurated the PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya building in Khatima. The construction of the Kendriya Vidyalaya building in Khatima was included in CM Dhami’s dream project. While being the Khatima MLA, Dhami got the Kendriya Vidyalaya approved by the Government of India. Since 2019, the Kendriya Vidyalaya was being operated in a temporary building. CM Dhami expressed happiness on the realization of his dream project and wished the people of Khatima area.

It is worth noting that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Khatima in his home area Udham Singh Nagar district on Monday evening. After a night’s rest at his private residence Nagara Tarai, on Tuesday morning, CM Dhami inaugurated the building of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Khatima, built at a cost of Rs 26 crore 23 lakh on the land of Government Agricultural Farm Khatima. Earlier, the All India Education Samagam program organized in Delhi was watched live by sitting in Kendriya Vidyalaya. Also, in the program organized by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on the fifth anniversary of the new education policy, 22 PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya buildings from across the country became a part of the inauguration program. During this, the children of Kendriya Vidyalaya Khatima also organized great cultural programs.

On this occasion, CM Dhami concluded the program by inaugurating the building plaque of Kendriya Vidyalaya Khatima. During this, CM Dhami said that, while being the Khatima MLA, he had got the Kendriya Vidyalaya approved from the Central Government. His dream of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Khatima has come true today, in which now the children of Khatima will be able to receive their education. He said that today the long-standing demand for Kendriya Vidyalaya in Khatima has come true. The grand building of the school has also been inaugurated.

He said that he expresses his gratitude to the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for giving the gift of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya to Khatima. CM Dhami said that the dream of studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya of the children is now being fulfilled with the inauguration of Kendriya Vidyalaya. The children of Khatima area will now get a chance to move forward by getting education in this school. After this program, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami left for Dehradun from Khatima.

Approval of Kendriya Vidyalaya

Let us tell you that approval was received from the Central Government on 15 March 2019. Immediately after that, the Kendriya Vidyalaya was being run temporarily in the old Kendriya Vidyalaya of Government Inter College Badhiya. The construction work of the Kendriya Vidyalaya building started from January 2023. The construction work was completed on its scheduled time on 18 March 2025.
