Uttarakhand: CM Dhami’s big announcement, will give one month’s salary for disaster relief

Relief and rescue operations are going on in the recent disaster in Dharali and Harshil areas of Uttarkashi district (Uttarkashi Cloudburst News). Many people have been rescued. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami (CM Dhami) has announced to donate his one month’s salary for disaster relief work.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is standing with the disaster affected people at every step. In this difficult situation, everyone should unite and help the victims. He also appealed to public representatives, officials, voluntary organizations and common citizens to cooperate in relief and rescue operations as per their capacity.

Uttarkashi Rescue Update
Chief Minister Shri Dhami himself is continuously monitoring the relief and rescue operations. Along with this, he has given instructions to provide assistance to the needy by conducting a field inspection of the affected areas.

Let us tell you that in the Uttarkashi rescue operation yesterday, 260 people including 160 men, 97 women and three children were rescued from Harshil and shifted to Matli ITBP camp.
