India's hegemony is buried; if Israel attacks, we will give a befitting reply... Pakistani Foreign Minister spews venom
Pakistan is enraged after Israel’s airstrike on Qatar. It is attempting to intimidate Israel by invoking India’s name. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar are continuously spewing venom against Israel. Ishaq Dar has even talked about using Pakistani nuclear weapons to defend Muslim countries. Pakistan is the only Muslim country with nuclear weapons. Both leaders are referring to the India-Pakistan war during Operation Sindoor and boasting. However, the whole world saw what India did to Pakistan between May 7 and May 10.
Pakistan calls the US a trusted partner
Ishaq Dar said in an interview, “We will not allow our territorial integrity to be violated, no matter who does it, whether it is the smallest or the largest country. We will respond. But I see no reason why the US or any other country would do so. India did it. You saw what happened to them.” When Ishaq Dar was questioned about the US’s lack of action in the Israeli attack on Qatar and whether Pakistan still considers the US a “trusted” security partner, he highlighted the US’s “positive” role in brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan in May following recent tensions between the two countries. However, India has consistently rejected the US’s role.
Ishaq Dar strongly criticized Israel
Criticizing the Israeli attack on Qatar, Ishaq Dar said that Israel’s reasons for attacking a sovereign country are “completely baseless.” He pointed out that at the time of the attack, Qatar was mediating peace talks in Gaza with the US and Egypt. He described Israel’s actions as “rogue.” Dar emphasized that Israel has attacked several countries in the Middle East and said that international laws, international humanitarian regulations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and UN Security Council resolutions “have no effect on a country (Israel) that repeatedly does whatever it pleases.”
Dar raised the issue of Kashmir and Gaza
Ishaq Dar called for reforms within the UN Security Council, including the UN Security Council. He said, “The purpose of the UN Security Council is to maintain peace in the world. And if its resolutions are simply thrown into the dustbin, as has been the case for so many years—Israel in Gaza and Palestine, and India in Kashmir—then what can we expect from the multilateral system?”
Dar issued a warning, referring to Operation Sindoor
Dar said that Pakistan believes that no country, no matter how big or small, should have equal “dignity and respect.” Referring to India, he said, “A country claimed hegemony, security, and leadership over the entire region.” But “you saw what happened between May 7 and 10. Everything was decided.” He threatened India, saying, “Hegemony is now buried.” Dar further stated that Pakistan’s military action at that time was in self-defense.
This statement was made on the possibility of an Israeli attack on Pakistan
Regarding whether Israel might launch another attack on Pakistan after Qatar, Ishaq Dar issued a threat, saying, “India tried to do so, and Israel, to the best of our knowledge, provided full support,” and “the world saw that this claim has been exposed.” He said, “We are ready.” I reiterate, we want peace.” He added, “Nuclear-armed nations do not want any instability in the region, as its consequences will extend beyond the region.”
This accusation was leveled against India and Israel
Ishaq Dar alleged that Israel and India are the only countries that do not comply with UN Security Council resolutions. He called for the Council to develop a mechanism to take practical measures to “control the situation.” He emphasized the need for physical action and physical intervention. He stressed that Pakistan is committed to completely eliminating terrorism from its soil and has made supreme sacrifices in this fight. He said, “It is surprising that India is still blaming the country most affected by terrorism.”
Threatened India on the Indus Water Treaty
Dar reiterated that Pakistan desires friendly relations with all its neighbors, including India, but warned that sovereignty will never be compromised. He said, “No one will be allowed to violate Pakistan’s independence or integrity.” On water issues, Dar threatened that future wars would be fought over water and reminded that under the Indus Water Treaty, India cannot unilaterally suspend or cancel water distribution. “Pakistan has made it clear that any attempt to withhold water will be considered a declaration of war,” he warned.
