Uttarakhand: CS chairs meeting of State-Level Udyog Mitra Committee, directs officials to ensure prompt disposal of industrial related issues

Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, while directing officials to ensure prompt resolution of industrial-related issues, stated that the government is committed to providing adequate facilities and a conducive environment for industries in the state. Instructing officials to regularly convene meetings of the state-level Udyog Mitra Committees to discuss matters related to industries and entrepreneurs, he emphasized that immediate action should be taken on matters of urgent importance, without waiting for these committee meetings.
Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan issued these instructions while chairing a meeting of the authorized committee of the state-level Udyog Mitra Committee at the Secretariat on Thursday. The Chief Secretary listened in detail to the matters presented by representatives of state entrepreneurs and industry organizations. He also discussed several important industrial-related issues in detail and directed officials of the relevant departments to ensure prompt resolution. The Chief Secretary stated that the Finance Secretary will meet with entrepreneurs regarding issues related to the new GST system and resolve any concerns and concerns. He said that a proposal to relax the standards for opening ESIC hospitals in the state will be prepared and sent to the Regional Council. He also directed officials regarding the arrangement of land required for an ESIC hospital in Dehradun district.
The Chief Secretary stated that special attention is being paid to providing a conducive environment for the establishment and operation of industries in the state, as well as to providing adequate facilities in industrial establishments. Directing the concerned departments and organizations to take effective steps to provide all necessary infrastructure for industries, adequate and uninterrupted power supply, and improved logistics facilities, the Chief Secretary also urged them to ensure timely resolution of issues raised by entrepreneurs.
Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, Shailesh Bagoli, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Secretary Vineet Kumar, along with several senior officials, representatives of industry organizations, and numerous entrepreneurs were present at the meeting.
