Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed deep concern over the news of the disappearance of Karandeep Singh Rana, a resident of Uttarakhand serving in the Merchant Navy. Chief Minister Dhami spoke with Karandeep Singh Rana’s father over the phone today and assured him of all possible assistance and support.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government is in constant contact with the central government and the Ministry of External Affairs regarding this matter. He stated that Karandeep’s safety and speedy return are the state government’s top priority.
Chief Minister Dhami stated that he himself has decided to speak with officials from the Ministry of External Affairs to seek prompt action and necessary assistance on this matter. He stated that the state government, the central government, and relevant agencies are taking all necessary steps in coordination to locate Karandeep Singh Rana and ensure his safe return.
The Chief Minister appealed to Karandeep Singh Rana’s family for patience, stating that the government understands their concern and pain and is making sincere efforts in this direction.
