2100 primary teacher posts vacant in Uttarakhand, minister gives instructions to fill them soon

Uttarakhand School Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has directed departmental officials to begin the recruitment process for vacant primary school positions soon.

2,100 Primary Teacher Positions Vacant Across the State
Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat stated that approximately 2,100 primary teacher positions are currently vacant across the state. Of these, 451 positions are currently under a High Court stay. Officials have been ordered to issue notifications to fill the remaining positions quickly.

Minister Issues Instructions to Fill Vacant Positions Soon
The Minister also stated that teachers who have been working in remote areas for a long time will be accommodated in accessible districts according to vacant positions. This process will ensure that newly recruited teachers receive their first posting directly in remote areas. The Minister urged officials to complete the recruitment process as quickly as possible so that children’s education is not hampered.
