According to reports, the incident occurred around 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning when a leopard fatally attacked Manbar Singh Bisht (55), resulting in his tragic death. Since the incident, panic has gripped the entire area, forcing people to remain indoors.
Villagers demand the shooting of the leopard
Villagers have demanded the Forest Department shoot the leopard. They have also demanded that the Forest Department strengthen patrolling, deploy forest guards around schools, and clear the bushes surrounding the village to prevent such incidents in the future.
