Uttarakhand: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh may reach Haldwani on November 6

A grand Silver Jubilee celebration is being held in Haldwani to mark the Uttarakhand State Foundation Day. The event, marking 25 years since the state’s formation, will be held on November 6th at the MB Inter College grounds. Military Welfare and Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi arrived in Haldwani to review the preparations. He inspected the venue and instructed officials to ensure all arrangements are completed on time and in an efficient manner.

Secretary Deependra Chaudhary, District Magistrate Nainital Vandana, SSP Manjunath TC, and other senior officials were present during the inspection. Minister Ganesh Joshi stated that Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami are expected to attend this historic State Foundation Day. Military officers, veterans, brave women, and brave mothers will be specially invited to the event.

Ganesh Joshi stated that the Uttarakhand Silver Jubilee celebrations will showcase Uttarakhand’s glorious journey, the sacrifices of the state’s martyrs, and the development achievements of the last 25 years. The ceremony will feature cultural programs as well as tableaux related to various sectors of the state—agriculture, tourism, industry, education, and women’s empowerment.

Ganesh Joshi stated that the 25th anniversary of Uttarakhand’s formation is a proud moment for every resident of the state. Uttarakhand has charted a strong course of development over the past two and a half decades. Today, the state is rapidly progressing in education, tourism, roads, health, and military services. Our goal is to have Uttarakhand among the best states in the country in the future.

He instructed officials to ensure that no shortcomings are left in security, transportation, parking, drinking water, and seating arrangements for guests. It is reported that veterans and brave women will be honored at the Silver Jubilee celebrations. Social workers and hardworking individuals who have contributed to the state’s development will also be honored on stage. This will be a proud moment for Haldwani. For the first time, the main government event celebrating Statehood Day is being held here.
