Uttarakhand: The Ankita murder case has once again heated up the political scene; the Congress state president held a press conference and demanded a CBI inquiry into the involvement of VIPs

The Ankita Bhandari murder case in Uttarakhand has once again become a topic of discussion. A video that went viral on social media has sparked a political controversy regarding the identity of a VIP involved in the case. On Tuesday, Uttarakhand Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal held a press conference in Delhi and demanded a CBI investigation into the entire matter, to be overseen by a Supreme Court judge. He stated that if the state government does not recommend a CBI investigation within ten days, the Congress party will launch a statewide agitation.

It is worth noting that recently, the alleged wife of former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore, who was expelled from the party, made a revelation during a Facebook Live session. In the video, the woman mentioned a VIP named Gattu in connection with the Ankita Bhandari murder case. She claimed in the video that Gattu is a prominent BJP leader. Following this, the Congress party has launched an attack on the government.
