Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Dhami participated in the program organized at Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara in Dehradun on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a program organized on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas (Brave Children’s Day) at Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha, Adhat Bazaar, Dehradun on Friday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister paid his respects at the Gurudwara and partook in the community meal (Langar). He joined the congregation in offering prayers (Ardas) and prayed for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the state.
On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute to Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru, and his four sons, Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh, and Baba Fateh Singh, saying that the lives of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons are a living example of sacrifice, valor, defense of faith, and patriotism. They sacrificed their lives happily for the protection of India’s self-respect.
The Chief Minister said that the sacrifice of the four Sahibzadas (sons of the Guru) is the greatest example of bravery and courage in Indian history and the world. Such courage, determination, and devout sacrifice are not found anywhere else in history. He said that these young heroes chose death over conversion. These brave Sahibzadas proved that there is no age limit for protecting one’s faith and national pride. He said that future generations will never forget this immortal sacrifice.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has for the first time given the brave Sahibzadas their rightful respect. The Prime Minister declared December 26th as Veer Bal Diwas, connecting the entire nation to the glorious history of the Sikhs. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, we are working to preserve our glorious past. At the same time, we are moving forward with determination towards building the India of the dreams of these brave martyrs.
During this event, the Chief Minister appealed to all parents and teachers to narrate the stories of the brave Sahibzadas to their children so that future generations can also be proud of their religion, culture, and traditions. On this occasion, President of Guru Singh Sabha Sardar Gurbaksh Singh Rajan, General Secretary Sardar Gulzar Singh, Vice President Sardar Charanjit Singh, BJP General Secretary Deepti Rawat, Siddharth Agarwal, Vice Chairman of the Infrastructure Monitoring Council Vishwas Dabar, office bearers Puneet Mittal and Shyam Agarwal, and others were present.
