The troubles of film actress Urmila Sanawar, who claims to be the wife of former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore, may be increasing. Four cases have been registered against her in different police stations and precincts in Haridwar district. These cases are registered at the Jwalapur police station and the Bahadrabad police station. Recently, another case was registered at the Bahadrabad police station, in which both Urmila and former MLA Suresh Rathore are named. Now, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) will investigate all four cases.
It is worth noting that a villager recently filed a case at the Bahadrabad police station. This case includes the names of both Urmila Sanawar and former MLA Suresh Rathore. Earlier, Suresh Rathore had filed a case at the Jwalapur police station. Therefore, to resolve these separate cases, Haridwar SSP Pramendra Dobal has constituted an SIT, or Special Investigation Team.
The SIT will conduct the investigation under the leadership of Haridwar SP City Abhay Kumar Singh. The SIT comprises a total of seven members, including two inspectors. A total of four cases have been registered against Urmila Sanawar at the Jwalapur police station and other police stations. Thus, Urmila Sanawar’s troubles appear to be mounting.
Ankita Bhandari murder case back in the spotlight due to Urmila Sanawar’s video
In fact, film actress Urmila Sanawar had posted on social media regarding the Ankita Bhandari murder case. She also released an audio recording. The audio allegedly contained a conversation between her and former MLA Suresh Rathore. The audio claimed that several prominent leaders were involved in the Ankita Bhandari case, but they were not punished.
As soon as the audio surfaced, it created a stir in Uttarakhand politics. The Congress party attacked the BJP. Protests demanding justice for Ankita began in various places. Meanwhile, former MLA Suresh Rathore held a press conference, claiming the audio was AI-generated and demanding strict action against actress Urmila Sanawar. Meanwhile, a villager filed a case against Urmila and Suresh Rathore at the Bahadrabad police station, accusing them of conspiring against and defaming a BJP leader. Recently, another case was registered against Urmila at the Jhabrera police station. In total, four cases have been registered against actress Urmila Sanawar at Haridwar’s Kotwali Jwalapur, Kotwali Ranipur, Bahadrabad police station, and Jhabrera police station.

To ensure the swift and successful resolution of these cases, Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Pramendra Singh Dobal has issued orders to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The responsibility for conducting an impartial investigation into the cases has been assigned to SP City Abhay Kumar Singh, who will head the SIT.
