The Municipal Corporation is in action mode regarding the ongoing dispute over forest department land in 12 wards under the Rishikesh Municipal Corporation area. The Municipal Corporation has decided to hold a board meeting on January 3rd to pass several important resolutions in this regard. The resolutions will be passed and sent to the government, which will provide relief to the people occupying the forest land.
Survey Report to be Filed in Supreme Court on January 5th
The Forest Department’s survey report is to be filed in the Supreme Court on January 5th. Today, Mayor Shambhu Paswan and Municipal Commissioner Gopal Ram Binwal held a press conference regarding this matter. They stated that the Municipal Corporation is serious about the Supreme Court’s order. Arrangements are being made to ensure that people occupying the forest department land do not face any difficulties.
