The incident took place in Jhabrera, Haridwar. Ravi Kumar, a resident of the area, works as a taxi driver. In the evening, he was backing his car into the courtyard of his house. At that moment, his four-year-old son opened the door and came out. The child stood behind the car.

Family plunged into grief
The father, however, was unaware of this. As soon as he reversed the car, the child was run over by the wheels. Hearing the screams, the father immediately moved the car forward and pulled the child out from under it. But it was too late. The child had already died.
