The Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed in the farmer suicide case has arrived in Haldwani. The team, led by IG Nilesh Anand Bharne, inspected the scene of the incident, the hotel. Several police officers, including Udham Singh Nagar SSP Manikant Mishra, are under the SIT’s scrutiny.
Udham Singh Nagar Police security removed from the deceased’s house
IG Nilesh Anand Bharne stated that the FIR has been transferred from Kashipur ITI to Kathgodam police station. Udham Singh Nagar police have also been instructed not to contact or communicate with the deceased’s family in any way. The IG said that the security provided by the Udham Singh Nagar police at the deceased Sukhwant’s house will be removed and replaced with security from another district.
SIT team to visit the deceased farmer’s house
IG Nilesh Anand Bharne informed that the SIT team will visit the deceased farmer’s house tomorrow, Sunday. Statements of all the police officers who appeared in the video will also be recorded. The IG claimed that the entire case will be investigated impartially. No one found guilty will be spared.
