A massive explosion occurred in Roorkee this morning due to a gas cylinder blast. The incident took place at a tea stall near Rampur Chungi in the Gangnahar Kotwali area. The explosion was so powerful that the shop was completely destroyed, spreading panic in the area. Two people are reported to have been injured in the incident.

The incident occurred around 5:30 AM on Wednesday morning. According to reports, a gas cylinder suddenly exploded at a tea stall located at Rampur Chungi. The sound of the explosion was so loud that people in the surrounding area rushed out of their homes. The shop quickly caught fire.

Two People Severely Burned While Having Tea
Two people who were at the shop having tea at the time of the incident were severely burned. Local residents, without regard for their own safety, pulled the injured from the rubble and immediately rushed them to the Civil Hospital in Roorkee. According to doctors, the condition of both injured individuals is critical, and they have been referred to a higher-level medical center after receiving initial treatment.

Shop Completely Destroyed by Fire
Upon receiving the information, the police also arrived at the scene. The fire has now been brought under control, but the shop has been completely destroyed.
