Shahrukh-Salman paid tribute on the death of PM Narendra Modi’s mother, said- ‘My family’s prayers are with you’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben breathed her last on Friday at the UN Hospital in Ahmedabad at the age of 99. In this hour of grief on the Prime Minister, Bollywood celebs paid tribute to Heeraben through social media. Today, on December 31, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan expressed his condolences by tweeting on Twitter. Paying tribute to Heeraben, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, ‘I am deeply saddened by the demise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben ji. My family’s prayers are with you sir. May his soul rest in peace. Apart from Shahrukh Khan, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has also condoled the demise of PM Modi’s mother.

Expressing grief, Salman Khan wrote in a tweet, ‘Dear Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, I can understand your pain because there is no bigger loss than losing your mother. May God give you strength in this hour of grief. Before Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, stars like Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Vivek Agnihotri, Jackie Shroff, Swara Bhaskar and Sonu Sood have mourned the death of PM Modi’s mother.

The Prime Minister wrote on his official Twitter account, ‘A glorious century rests at the feet of God. In mother, I have always felt that trinity, which includes the journey of an ascetic, a symbol of a selfless karma yogi and a life dedicated to values.’ PM Narendra Modi was very close to his mother, often the PM used to take time out from his work to visit his mother and used to eat food from her hands. The Prime Minister used to seek his mother’s blessings on festivals and election victories.

Shah Rukh Khan is going to make a comeback on the big screen with the film ‘Pathaan’, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham will be seen alongside Shah Rukh in this film. The film will hit the theaters on 25 January 2023. So far 2 songs have been released from the film which are included in the list of trending.
