Uttar Pradesh: School closed in Lucknow till January 7 due to cold wave, holiday in these districts too

These days heavy cold along with fog continues to wreak havoc in Uttar Pradesh. In view of the weather, all schools in Lucknow have been ordered to be closed from January 4 to January 7. Due to the warning of the Meteorological Department, the DM has given this order. This is the order for government and private schools of all boards. Along with this, the order will also apply to Kasturba Gandhi residential schools.

Let us tell you that in many states of North Western India, it is getting cold at this time. At the same time, dense fog is also being seen in many states including Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, problems are increasing for school children. Keeping the children in mind, holidays have been declared in schools in many states, while school timings have been changed in many states. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, schools have been closed due to cold wave. Along with children, this order is also for teachers and non-teaching staff.

Schools closed in these districts of UP as well

Schools are closed in most of the cities of Uttar Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh due to winter vacations. Schools from classes 1 to 8 in Varanasi have been closed till January 04. Schools of class 12th in Sitapur will also remain closed till January 04. Apart from this, winter vacation has been announced from December 31 to January 14 in Mainpuri district of UP by issuing a notice on December 30. As per the orders of Mainpuri Basic Education Department, schools up to class 8th are closed in Mainpuri.

Winter vacation in these states too
In Delhi, from January 01 to January 12, 2023, all the schools in the city will remain closed. Under the instructions of the Directorate of Education, the state government has issued a notice announcing the winter vacation. Schools will open only for students of class 9 to 12 from 02 to 14 January. At the same time, 12 days winter vacation is going on in the schools of Rajasthan. The statewide winter vacation began on December 25 and will continue till January 05, 2023. This year, the Rajasthan Board has reduced the summer vacations by increasing the winter vacations.

Schools in the state of Punjab will remain closed for winter vacations from January 03 to 13, 2023. Apart from this, there will be winter holidays from December 23, 2022 to January 06, 2023 in central and southern Punjab. Schools up to class 8th in Bihar have been closed till 31 December.
