Uttar Pradesh / Maharajganj: Knives on neck and vermilion in hand, 8th class student fulfills demand of 6th class girl

In UP, the police may make lakhs of claims, but road raids are not taking the name of reducing the morale of Romeo. Now a strange incident has come to light from Maharajganj district where a class 8 student barged into the house of a class 6 girl student and filled vermilion on her demand at knife point. The 16-year-old boy has been taken into custody by the police after the girl’s father lodged a report.

Know what is the whole matter

It is being told that both the accused and the girl are minors. Both studied in the same school in the village and the boy often harassed the girl. According to the police, the boy has been following the girl for three months. When the girl’s parents came to know about this, they got her admitted to another school but did not file a complaint with the police.

Maharajganj police station in-charge Ravi Kumar Rai told that at 4 pm on Saturday, the boy along with a friend reached the house of a 14-year-old girl. Then the girl was sweeping. One of the boys put a knife on the girl’s throat and put vermilion on her demand. The girl got scared and raised an alarm, but the boys managed to escape before anyone could reach there.

When the girl’s father, who is a driver, returned home after work, the girl narrated her ordeal. The girl’s father lodged a police complaint in the matter. The boy was identified on the basis of CCTV footage. A police team traced the boy and picked him up, the SHO said. His father has a shoe shop. The boy was produced before the Child Welfare Committee and has been kept in a juvenile home.
