Yashraj Mehra of Uttarakhand won gold medal in Taekwondo
Uttarakhand’s talented son Yashraj Mehra has brought laurels to his state by winning gold medal in international level Taekwondo competition at the age of just 16. Yash Raj Mehra won the gold medal in the first attempt in the under-59 weight category junior of the Open International Taekwondo Championship held in Amritsar, Punjab. This competition was held from 29 to 31 December last. At the same time, due to this unprecedented achievement of Yash Raj Mehra, there is a wave of happiness in the entire region including his family.
According to information, Yashraj Mehra is originally a resident of Phulchod in Haldwani Tehsil area of Nainital district. Yash Raj Aryaman is a Class X student at Vikram Birla School. Yash Raj has already won silver medals in many national and state level competitions. At the same time, Yash Raj told that he wants to bring a medal for the country, for which he is working hard.
