Haryana / Faridabad: The scumbag caught by the police said- “I commit fraud on the orders of divine power”, having executed more than 100 incidents

If a miscreant continues to commit crimes for a long time and is not caught, then an example of how he gets confused, was recently seen in Crime Branch Sector-30. Crime Branch Sector-30 arrested the scoundrel two weeks ago, who was riding on a scooty in the same manner and cheating the elderly’s jewelery and money.

The accused is a resident of Chhansa

This accused named Shivkumar is a resident of Chhaysa village. During interrogation, he tried to mislead the policemen by saying that he was blessed by divine power, on whose orders he cheats. This divine power helps him in cheating and people easily fall for his words. This power kept him safe from the police for so long.

The vicious person is fabricating a story to divert attention

The investigating officer understood that the miscreant was very clever and was fabricating this story just to divert attention. When strictly questioned him, it was found that he has been stealing and cheating since the age of nine. The age of the accused is around 30 years. In the last about six years, he has committed more than 100 incidents of cheating in Delhi-NCR. In Faridabad alone, he has committed 50 cases of cheating.

Had a runny nose

This scoundrel had troubled the police. He mostly targeted the elderly. As soon as he saw an elderly person wearing ornaments, he would have reached with a scooty. Saying hello first would have increased intimacy with them. Told them that he liked the jewelery they were wearing. Many times he used to describe himself as his son’s friend. He used to say that he wanted to make similar ornaments for his wife as well.

Used to abscond with jewelery

After this, on the pretext of seeing, he used to take jewelery from them and abscond with them. This scoundrel was not getting caught in any way. DCP Crime Mukesh Malhotra put the responsibility of catching it on Crime Branch Sector-30 in-charge Sethi Malik. He along with the team was following this miscreant for about two months. At one place his slight face was captured in the CCTV camera. On the basis of that, the crime branch nabbed the accused. Out of 50 incidents in Faridabad, only 20 incidents were registered. Three cases were registered after the arrest of the accused.

Crime branch will take remand again

The crime branch has so far questioned the accused in 10 cases. He is currently lodged in jail. In the rest of the cases, the crime branch will take the accused on remand for questioning. The crime branch wants to conduct an identification parade of the accused from the victims, so has not yet released his photo.
