Haryana: Three arrested including brother and sister who cheated in the name of KBC, Fraud done across the country
Haryana’s Cyber Cell with the help of Gopalganj police has arrested three cyber criminals who were involved in fraud in the name of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) across the country. On Wednesday, three cyber criminals were arrested by raiding Pathra village of Manjha police station area. These include siblings and neighbor youth.
The identity of the arrested cyber criminals was Mohd., a resident of Pathra village. Mustafa’s son Naushad Alam, daughter Juhi and Mohd. Mojibul Rahman’s son Mohd. Performed as Anish Rahman. Police has found many objectionable items including mobile, passbook from his house. At the same time, the master mind of this gang is said to be absconding. Haryana and the police are busy raiding in search of the mastermind. SP Swarna Prabhat has confirmed the action.
Fraud case was registered in Faridabad
Online fraud was done in the name of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) on 23 February and 10 March 2022 in Faridabad district of Haryana. Cyber cell started investigation by registering an FIR in the matter. During the investigation, the name and location of the person in whose account money was transacted was found, after which Haryana’s cyber cell with the help of Gopalganj police raided Pathra village and arrested all three. The SP said that the police is further taking action in the case related to cybercrime.
