Uttarakhand: To make up for the mistakes made by Congress, the Congress will take out the Yatra with folded hands- Mahendra Bhatt

Taking a jibe at the Congress’s ‘Haath Se Haath Jodo Yatra’, the BJP has advised them to take out ‘Haath Jodo’ Yatra, apologizing for their mistakes. State President Mahendra Bhatt said in response to the question asked by the media that the public has already joined hands with the Congress by rejecting it in many consecutive elections. So it would be better if they try to join hands with the leaders of their own party.

State President Mahendra Bhatt said in an informal conversation with the media that no matter what journey Rahul, Priyanka or any of their stalwarts take out, the public has left both the ‘saath and hand’ of the credibilityless Congress forever. Even during Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, the pace of Congressmen’s Quit Party Yatra did not slow down, rather it increased. He sarcastically pointed out that Priyanka Gandhi’s Hath Se Hath Jodo yatra now shows that both have divided India instead of uniting it, as most of the yatra’s focus will be on Hindi-speaking areas where Rahul’s yatra has not reached. He directly alleged that in the last 7 decades, the credibility of the Congress among the public has ended on every subject, whether it is to make corruption a practice, whether it is meeting enemy countries in closed rooms and pledging national sovereignty, sometimes without a fight. Whether it is dividing the country into two pieces or handing over thousands of hectares of land to China, whether it is appeasement of a particular religion under the guise of secularism and exploitation of the majority, whether it is the distribution of country’s resources in the name of economic reforms or similar other topics.

Mahendra Bhatt said that at present no one takes seriously the visits and promises of the state and national leaders of the Congress party. Perhaps that’s why Rahul Gandhi has maintained his record of losing elections in this visit as well. His journey passed through two constituencies and the party had to face a crushing defeat in both the assembly by-elections in Telangana and Gujarat elections. Now Priyanka Gandhi in her turn wants to try her strength in remaining states especially where elections are due next year and show her opponents in the party. He said that those who are claiming to join hands among the public have not joined their own hands.
