Western Disturbance is likely to remain active in Uttarakhand for the next three days i.e. from 24 to 26 January. During this time there may be rain and snowfall. Tourists coming from other states can enjoy snowfall at these hill stations. At the same time, after the forecast of the Meteorological Department, tourists have started reaching these hill stations. On the other hand, in most areas of Uttarakhand on Tuesday, clouds and sunshine continued since morning. However, it was sunny in most areas in the afternoon.

Suddenly the weather took a turn in Nainital

When the weather suddenly took a turn in Nainital on Tuesday, it started drizzling and raining. There are chances of snowfall till Tuesday evening. It is freezing cold in the city due to rain. Due to which the common life has also been affected. But tourism and businessmen are very excited due to increasing chances of snowfall. There was snowfall in Munsiyari on Tuesday.

Chance of hailstorm and lightning

According to Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, western disturbances are expected to remain active across the state for three days from Tuesday to Thursday. Due to which there may be heavy rain and snowfall in high altitude areas of Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts. There is a possibility of snowfall in Nainital as well.

Along with this, there is a possibility of hailstorm and lightning at some places in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar. In view of this, Yellow Alert has been issued.
