Uttarakhand: CM Dhami inaugurated the office of Divisional Inspector (Technical) in Champawat, Dhami said – “We have resolved to develop Champawat”


Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the office of Divisional Inspector (Technical) of Champawat district headquarters on Friday. Addressing the program organized at Goralchod Maidan, the Chief Minister said that he has resolved for the development of Champawat. It is the blessings of the Gods and Goddesses and all the people sitting in Uttarakhand that they are able to do something for the entire state as well as Champawat as a chief servant, and the launch of this office was taken in the direction of fulfilling that resolution. Gone is the step. In future too, such works will continue to happen everyday. He said that he is more happy than you are when this long-standing demand of the people here is being fulfilled today. The Chief Minister said that with the establishment of Divisional Inspector Office of the Transport Department in Champawat, work like fitness of vehicles and making of driving license would be done here and time and money of the public would also be saved. The Chief Minister said that he is always trying to solve the problems of the local people. For this purpose, the Chief Minister’s Camp Office has been established in the district headquarters and Tanakpur for quick resolution of public problems. So that the people here do not have to travel unnecessarily to Dehradun. He said that our government is also trying its best to fulfill all the promises made on time, as a result of which the beautification of the Sipti waterfall, which was announced during the Champawat tour, has been started since the day of Mahashiv Ratri. The beginning has already started.
The Chief Minister said that we had announced an inter-state bus stand in Tanakpur, funds have been allocated for that, funds have also been approved for the district library, Government Post Graduate College Champawat will be made a campus of Soban Singh Jina University, Almora. Approval has been given, this college will also be made a model college. He said that in the same way many development works are being done continuously in the district and will be done in future as well.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has become recognized in the world in various fields. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the government is also working continuously with the mantra of its “Resolve without option” to make Uttarakhand the best state. With everyone’s cooperation, we will set a new record by making Uttarakhand the best state by 2025.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister started the work of the office by distributing the fitness certificate of Laxman Singh’s vehicle number UK 03 TA 0491 and the learning license of Suresh Chandra Pal and Pushpa Joshi made by the Divisional Inspector’s Office.
During the program, the Chief Minister also made several announcements for the development of the district, in which,
▪️Chief Minister announced that Army School would be opened in Champawat. Free land will be allotted for this.
▪️Government land will be allotted to quarters built on PWD land near Golju temple. The PWD department will allocate funds for this.
▪️Tourism infrastructure will be developed on PWD land and animal husbandry land near Golju temple so that this magnificent temple connected with Manaskhand corridor can be linked with tourism.
▪️DPR will be made for Lohaghat city soon in relation to Saryu drinking water scheme if it is found suitable
▪️In Tanakpur Banwasa, a detailed drainage plan will be made immediately by the Irrigation Department.
▪️An open air theater will be built by tourism on the land of the old jail near Gauralchod Maidan. Kumaoni style of architecture will be used in this.
▪️In relation to the upgradation of Government Higher Secondary School, Dungrabora (up to Inter).
▪️Reconstruction and improvement of Dhoni Shilling Motorway will be done from Khidi village of Lohaghat Pancheshwar Motorway in Lohaghat Assembly Constituency of District Champawat.
During this, Regional MP Ajay Tamta said in his address that new decisions are being taken daily by the state government for the development of the state, in which anti-copying law is an important decision. District Panchayat President Jyoti Rai, Municipality President Vijay Verma, Lohaghat Municipality President Govind Verma, District Magistrate Narendra Singh Bhandari, Superintendent of Police Devendra Pincha, ARTO Surendra Kumar, various officers, public representatives and a large number of people were present in the programme.
Dhami will make Champawat an ideal district, gifted ₹ 4884.21 lakh

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 10 schemes worth Rs 4884.21 lakh for the development of district Champawat in the Collectorate complex Champawat on Friday. Out of which the foundation stone of 8 schemes costing 4628.36 lakh and inauguration of 2 schemes worth 255.85 lakh is included. The Chief Minister said that instructions have been given to the concerned officials to ensure that the schemes related to public welfare and facilities are implemented in a better and speedy manner. Among the schemes laid foundation stones, construction of women’s hostel at Government Polytechnic Lohaghat costing Rs 35 lakh, construction work of Government Polytechnic Champawat under the district at a cost of Rs 1800 lakh, construction work of Government Polytechnic Tanakpur at a cost of Rs 1600 lakh, Government Polytechnic Approach road construction work in Champawat costing Rs 101.47 lakh, heliport construction work in village Dada Bisht (Kulethi) Champawat with an approved cost of Rs 357.95 lakh under district Champawat, as well as heliport to be developed at Abbott Mount Lohaghat costing Rs 131.19 lakh For the related construction work, along with the construction of a multipurpose hall to be built at a cost of 200 lakhs in Government Polytechnic Lohaghat, under the state plan, improvement of Reetha Dholigaon motorway with an approved cost of 402.75 lakhs in development block Pati of Lohaghat, assembly constituency of district Champawat. The foundation stone of the asphalting work is included.
In the schemes inaugurated by the Chief Minister, under the State Plan, the Dhon Dury Motorway (Agar Tok) under the Assembly Constituency Champawat of the district will be extended from the Motorway, reconstruction and improvement work with the sanctioned cost of 110.90 lakhs, Khetikhan Tapnipal Motorway of Pati’s development block of Lohaghat Assembly Constituency. The total sanctioned cost includes the work of reconstruction and improvement of 144.95 lakhs.
