Uttarakhand: Defamation case filed against Rahul Gandhi in Haridwar court

The difficulties of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi do not seem to be reducing. Rahul Gandhi’s membership in the first Lok Sabha ended. Now a defamation case has been filed against him in the Haridwar court. The suit has been filed on behalf of RSS worker Kamal Bhadauria. In the court of Judicial Magistrate II Shiv Singh in the Haridwar District and Sessions Court, accepting the defamation case as a miscellaneous case, the hearing has been fixed on April 12. Kamal Bhadoria said in the suit that the RSS contributes shoulder to shoulder with the common people in times of disaster and difficult situations in the country. Due to which his feelings are connected with RSS.

In a statement in Kurukshetra Ambala on January 9, 2023, Rahul Gandhi had described the RSS as the Kauravas of the 21st century. It was also said that today’s Kauravas wear khaki half pants. Kamal, a resident of Rudra Vihar, Kankhal, said in the suit that being an RSS worker, he was hurt by Rahul Gandhi’s statement. Describing Rahul Gandhi’s statement as an act of hurting his sentiments, a case has been filed in the Haridwar Court. The suit has been filed on behalf of Kamal Bhadoria’s advocate Arun Bhadoria.
