Uttarakhand: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation stone of the tunnel in Mussoorie! Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi gave the invitation

Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi met Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi today. Minister Ganesh Joshi requested him to widen and improve the Dehradun-Kimadi motorway. Along with this, an invitation was also given to lay the foundation stone of the three kilometer long tunnel approved for Mussoorie. On which the Union Minister assured to come to Uttarakhand soon to lay the foundation stone of the tunnel.

Minister Ganesh Joshi apprised Union Minister Gadkari that the Kimadi motorway is being used as an alternative route to the Dehradun-Mussoorie motorway. But the condition of this road is bad. Tourists visit Mussoorie throughout the year and this route is also used as a travel route for Gangotri and Yamunotri from April to November.

The minister said that the widening of the Dehradun to Kimadi motor road will also help in getting rid of the jam on the Dehradun-Mussoorie road and the local people including tourists and pilgrims will also be benefitted. On which Union Minister Gadkari gave positive assurance and assured action in the matter at the earliest.
