Uttarakhand: The rain turned water on the hard work of the farmers, Congress demanded the government to give compensation to the farmers

Due to unseasonal rains, the wheat cultivation of the farmers has suffered a lot. Due to which the farmers have started worrying about the future. Farmers say that the rain has ruined their year-long hard work. On the other hand, Khatima MLA and Deputy Leader of Opposition Bhuvan Kapri submitted a memorandum to the SDM to provide compensation to the farmers for their damaged crops.
Due to continuous unseasonal rains in the past, the wheat crop of the farmers got ruined. Due to which the farmers have suffered huge losses. Small farmers have come on the verge of starvation. The survey is being conducted by the state government to provide compensation to the farmers for their damaged crops. At the same time, politics has started regarding the damaged crop of the farmers. Farmers’ organizations continue to protest continuously for compensation for the wheat crop.
In Khatima tehsil, Congress MLA and Deputy Leader of Opposition Bhuvan Kapri gheraoed SDM Ravindra Bisht along with the workers. Along with this, a memorandum was also submitted to the SDM in the name of the Chief Minister to give compensation to the farmers for their damaged crops. On this occasion, Khatima MLA Bhuvan Kapri told that he has given a memorandum to the SDM in the name of the Chief Minister for the wheat crop damaged due to the unseasonal rains of the farmers. He has demanded that Rs 50,000 per acre should be given to the aggrieved farmer, so that the farmer can live his life.
