Adventure journey in Auli from today, players will give message of safe Joshimath, CM Dhami also reached

The journey of adventure has started in Auli from today. Players will run to give the message of a safe Joshimath. CM Dhami has also reached to participate in this event. To give the message of safe Joshimath, Ski Mountaineering Association Uttarakhand and Sky Running Association Uttarakhand are jointly organizing national level sky running and sky ultra race competition from 8th April at Auli. The race will be held on the Badrinath Highway from Hanuman Chatti to Auli (46 kms). CM Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate the competition from the Joshimath Narasimha temple complex. Mountaineering Association President Ajay Bhatt said that registration has been done on behalf of players from different districts of the country to participate in the competition.

Participants will have to cover a distance of 48 kilometers

It will include participants from Odisha, UP, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh as well as Uttarakhand. 98 women from Joshimath have also registered to participate in the team race, while one woman each from Nepal and UP has also registered. The race will reach Auli via Joshimath Nagar and Sunil village from Hanuman Chatti ten kilometers before Badrinath Dham.
In this, the participants will have to cover a distance of 48 kms. Ajay Bhatt told that top-5 participants of the competition will be rewarded. Both the competitions will be organized on two different days.

What is sky running and sky ultra race

Running at an altitude of two thousand meters in the mountainous area is called sky running. The climbing difficulty (Grade-2) should not be high and the gradient should not exceed 30 degrees. Apart from this, in Sky Ultra Race you have to run while crossing various difficulties.

Will give message of safe Joshimath

Ski Mountaineering Association will give the message of safe Joshimath through Sky Running and Sky Ultra Race. This time in the month of January, due to the Joshimath disaster and less snowfall in Auli, the National Winter Games could not be organized in Auli, due to which the tourism business of Joshimath suffered a tremendous blow. Now organizing this competition is considered auspicious to boost the tourism business of Joshimath.
