CM attends two-day meeting of Uttarakhand BJP Mahila Morcha Working Committee, Dhami said – Women are increasing the pride and honor of the state

CM Dhami participated in the program of Mahila Morcha Working Committee today. During this, State President Mahendra Bhatt and National President of BJP Mahila Morcha Vanathi Srinivasan were also present along with CM Dhami. In the program, CM Dhami listed the achievements of his government. CM Dhami said that the state government is committed to the empowerment of women and the safety of women.

Addressing the two-day working committee of the State Working Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha at Swargashram, CM Dhami said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will win all the Lok Sabha seats in the state in the year 2024 on the basis of women in the state. The Municipal Corporation will also put full effort in the elections of Municipal Corporation and Nagar Panchayat to be held in the state. CM Dhami said that women have the highest position in Indian culture.

CM Dhami said that Mahila Morcha will go to the booth level regarding all the schemes of the central and state government. He said that the state government has worked for the empowerment of women and their safety in the entire state. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, under the Gaura Devi Kanya Dhan Yojana, Asha Sangini app was also launched along with providing 2850 cycles to class IX girl students in the plains. In which online salary will be given to Asha sisters. Whose monitoring work will also be done by the state government. Gaurav Shakti has been started for the safety and empowerment of the women of the state. For the purpose of providing a strong and capable society to women, the Chief Minister has also allocated an amount of Rs 7 crore under the Women’s Self Help Group Empowerment Scheme.

Pushkar Singh Dhami listed his achievements:

▪️The government increased the amount of old age and life pension to Rs 500 per month for the upliftment of people of every category in 1 year.

▪️Due to the gift of Nanda Gaura, provision was made to give an amount of 323 crores to thousands of girls in the state.

▪️Due to health power, 4944 women were given benefits by the government under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.

▪️In this, an amount of 115 crores was released directly to the bank accounts through DBT.

▪️Thousands of women were benefited under the Mahalaxmi scheme.

▪️On festivals like Rakshabandhan, women were given the gift of free travel in the buses of the Transport Corporation.

▪️Arrangements were made to register the names of girls along with nutrition in the ancestral property.

▪️With this, 50 percent reservation will be taken in jobs for women in the state.

State president of Bharatiya Janata Party Mahendra Prasad Bhatt said in the working committee that political resolutions have also been passed regarding the role of women in the elections to be held in the Lok Sabha and municipal corporations in the state. In which he said that the Bharatiya Janata Party had already talked about giving 10 percent reservation to women in the elections, but now the party has increased it to 15 percent. National President of Mahila Morcha, Vanathi Srinivasan said that full respect is given to women in Bharatiya Janata Party. The winning women are also being given training on priority basis across the country. He said that in the elections to be held in some states, the party has decided that it will give tickets to women as well, due to which maximum number of women have played a role in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.
