Major administrative reshuffle in Bihar, transfer of 36 IAS and 26 IPS officers
Large-scale administrative reshuffle has been done in Bihar. Here 36 IAS and 26 IPS officers have been transferred. This includes 11 SPs and 14 DMs. Immediately after the riots on the occasion of Ram Navami in Bihar, administrative reshuffle on such a large scale remains a matter of discussion. Significantly, on the occasion of Ram Navami, communal riots broke out in Bihar’s Sasaram and Bihar Sharif, in which a lot of people and money was lost.
Nitish government in the circle of questions!
The claims of good governance of the Nitish government ruling Bihar were questioned when riots broke out in Bihar Sharif and Sasaram on the occasion of Ram Navami. Nitish government always used to say that it cannot compromise on three C’s i.e. crime, corruption and communalism. But when law and order broke down on Ram Navami, that too came under the scanner. People’s trust in the Nitish government also decreased because the Bihar Sharif where the riots took place is the area of Nalanda and Nalanda is the home district of Nitish Kumar.
