Uttarakhand: Registration crosses 15 lakhs, Chardham Yatra starts from April 22… Arrangements are being rectified

This year too enthusiasm is visible among the devotees for the Chardham Yatra. So far more than 15 lakh pilgrims have registered for the Char Dham Yatra. Till Monday evening, 15 lakh 20 thousand 610 pilgrims had registered themselves to visit Chardham. Most enthusiasm is being seen for the Kedarnath Yatra. Maximum five lakh 40 thousand 286 pilgrims have registered for the darshan of Baba Kedar. After this, four and a half lakh pilgrims have registered for Badrinath Dham, two lakh 39 thousand for Yamunotri Dham and two lakh 77 thousand for Gangotri Dham.

Chardham Yatra will start from April 22

Online registrations were opened for Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham on February 21, while for Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham on March 16. The Char Dham Yatra will start on April 22 with the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. The first batch of pilgrims will leave for the yatra from Rishikesh on April 21. Besides Chardham, 7,141 pilgrims have registered for Hemkund Sahib.

Open window for heli booking

The window for Kedarnath helicopter booking has opened at 12 noon on Tuesday. This time booking of passengers will be done from May 1 to 7. For this, booking can be done by visiting https://heliyatra.irctc.co.in. For this, registration of Chardham Yatra is mandatory. You can register by visiting http://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. Booking ID has to be created for booking Heli tickets. With one ID, you can book up to six passengers.

Soon photometric registration will also be opened in Rishikesh for Chardham Yatra. For this, counters are ready in the Yatra Transit Camp. All arrangements are being made for the Chardham Yatra.
