VAT reduced on liquor, map mandatory for construction of buildings along the highway, read other big decisions of Dhami cabinet

A cabinet meeting was held at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. 21 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting. In which changes have been made mainly in the homestay scheme operated in the state. In such a situation, now the subsidy received from the state government will not be available for the construction of homestays in the Municipal Corporation and Municipality area. Along with this, the government has selected schools as schools of excellence to improve primary education. All the facilities will be made available according to the needs of the schools.

Actually, an important meeting of the Dhami cabinet took place today. In which many proposals have been approved. Under this, a ropeway will be constructed for Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. Apart from this, many other important decisions have also been taken. Which are considered very important for the development of the state and the public.

Key points of the cabinet meeting-

▪️Housing was built for poor Tibetan refugees. Whose compounding fee has been waived by the state government.

▪️A ropeway will be built from Rishikesh to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. Whose DPR has been prepared. The ropeway will be ready in the next two years.

▪️The Finance Department created 4 posts of Accountant.

▪️Due to increase in workload in Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, permission has been given to fill 30 posts on contract basis.

▪️The order to make village Siroli Kala a Nagar Panchayat was withdrawn.

▪️Under Ease of Doing, the stamp work will be done in the bank itself. Now there will be no need to buy a stamp to take a loan.

▪️VAT on liquor was reduced from 20 to 12 percent. on which consent has been obtained.

▪️There are immense possibilities of horticulture and poly house in the state. In such a situation, 17,648 poly houses will be built at a cost of 304 crores. Subsidy will also be available under this.

▪️An ordinance will be brought regarding the Uttarakhand Investment Infrastructure Development Board.

▪️Amendments were made in the framework rules of the Irrigation Department.

▪️A reward of 10 crores has been distributed under ‘Bill Lao Inam Pao’. Which has been extended for one year.

▪️The rules of the District Planning Committee were amended.

▪️To improve the quality of primary education, some schools have been given the status of excellent schools. The schools in which facilities will be increased as per the need.

▪️Naini Saini Airport is to be handed over to the Air Force. Until the Air Force takes over, this airport will be operated by the Airport Authority of India. MoU is being done for this.

▪️Now homestays will not be able to be built in Municipal Corporation and Municipality areas.

▪️Apart from all the state and national highways, a map pass of important roads from the point of view of tourism will be necessary.

▪️SIDCUL will acquire the sugarcane and sugar mill lands at the circle rate.
