Canadian police announced a reward of 1.5 crores on Goldie Brar, the name came in Musewala murder
Canada Police has announced a reward of 1.5 crores on Satinderjit Singh Brar alias Goldie Brar of Punjab origin. Goldie Brar is accused of getting the famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala murdered. Goldie is the alleged mastermind of the Musewala murder case. Sitting from Canada, he got Musewala murdered by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang in India. Canada Police has released a list of the country’s 25 most wanted fugitives. Goldie Brar’s name is at number 15 in this list. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police released a list on Monday in the ‘Bolo (Be on the Lookout) program’. Goldie Brar’s name is also in this list. His name is included at number fifteen.
Police released 25 names
A life-size cutout of him among all 25 fugitives is displayed in Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square. More than $750,000 in rewards were announced Monday, with rewards ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 added to several of the 25 most wanted. There is a reward of Rs 1.5 crore on Goldie.
Goldie reached Canada in 2017
Goldie Brar arrived in Canada in 2017 on a student visa. He had allegedly claimed responsibility for Musewala’s murder and was on the run since then. He is a resident of Muktsar, Punjab. Last month there was news that the police had taken him into custody in Canada but later it turned out to be wrong.
These allegations on Goldie Brar
According to Interpol, 29-year-old Goldie Brar is involved in murder, criminal conspiracy and illegal arms trafficking. A red corner notice has already been issued against him. The Punjab Police had gone up to Canada to nab him but could not find anything.
The Punjab Police has blamed Goldie Brar and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for the murder of Musewala in Mansa district on May 29 last year. Goldie Brar, a member of the Bishnoi gang, has been named in the 1,850-page police charge sheet filed in the Mansa court on August 26 last year. It states that Musewala was killed in retaliation for the murder of Young Akali leader Middukhera.

Others named in the charge sheet include jailed gangsters Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Manmohan Mohana, Deepak Tinnu, Sandeep Kekda, Ankit Sirsa, Priyavrat Fauji, Sachin Bhiwani, Keshav, Kashish, Manpreet Manu and Jagroop Roopa. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by Anti-Gangster Task Force chief Pramod Ban is probing Musewala’s murder.
There was news of Goldie being caught
Ban has said that Bishnoi, the main conspirator, has confessed that the plan was made in August 2021 to avenge the killing of Middukhera. In December 2022, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann claimed that Goldie Brar has been detained by the police in California. Later a purported video of Goldie Brar surfaced in which she claimed that she was neither detained nor was she in the US.
