Uttarakhand: Dhami government is doing better work for women, for Congress, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh is the right place for movement – Asha Nautiyal
Targeting the Congress, the BJP said that women leaders should not be safe in the Congress party itself, they have no moral basis for making speeches on women’s safety. BJP Mahila Morcha state president Asha Nautiyal showing the mirror said, our government has done wonderful work in the interest of mother power, it is better that they go to Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and protest against their governments where the number of crimes against women is at the highest level.
State President Nautiyal countered the allegations made by the Congress under the guise of an all-party movement, stating that it does not suit those whose party organizations and governments have the most insecure women, to share knowledge on this issue. He alleged, this is the same party which is silent on the case of sexual harassment by its own Assam Youth Pradesh President Angkita Dutta at the residence of its Yuva Morcha national president. Her party’s former national spokesperson and currently Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi had to leave the party due to obscenity by party leaders and not taking action on it, be it the case of her senior leader Nagma or UP Women’s State President and countless such cases. In which the women leaders of the party accused the party leaders of exploitation. But till date it has not been heard that the Congress has taken any step against any of its leaders who had misbehaved with women or its top leaders including Rahul Gandhi have given examples of such disciplinary action in any speech. Not only his party, where there are Congress governments, especially in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the number of crimes against women is maximum and the condition of women’s security is pathetic. But alas, neither the bosses of the Congress see the injustice done to women in their organization and government like Dhritarashtra, nor do their regional leaders who run politics with the help of media headlines.
Asha Nautiyal said, under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the BJP government has done historic work for the social and economic interests of women. Whether it is a matter of giving 30 percent horizontal reservation in government jobs, whether there is a plan to make 1.25 women self-employed millionaires, whether there is a plan for free refill of three cylinders in a year after Ujjwala Yojana, whether women self-help groups get interest of up to 27 lakhs. Be it the free loan scheme, whether it is the increase in the honorarium of Asha and Anganwadi sisters, whether it is the matter of transferring an amount of ₹ 323.22 crore to 80 thousand beneficiary girls under the Nanda Gaura scheme or many similar schemes. He said, the speedy and strictest action our government is taking in relation to crimes, especially crimes against women, shows the party’s gratitude and commitment towards mother power. Among the unfortunate incidents that happened with our daughters, which the opposition often talks about, fair and harshest action was taken in the Ankita episode under the Gangster Act and the matter is now in the court. Similarly, the best efforts were made by the Dhami government in Delhi’s Chhawla episode, but the grave negligence in the investigation by the then Congress government’s police at the time of the incident has become the biggest obstacle in getting justice.
State President Asha said, the people of the state are fully satisfied with the government’s action on the subject of women’s upliftment and crime prevention and are also giving their blessings through votes from time to time. He said with confidence that after repeated rejections on the banner of his party, the public is not going to be confused this time also by the ongoing Congress drama on the all-party platform.
