Russia has made a big announcement amidst the ongoing war with Ukraine. In fact, the Russian government-owned energy company Rosatom has said that it is ready to share the technology of its Floating Nuclear Power Plant (FNPP) with allied countries. Let us tell you that this technique is being said to be unique in removing the energy crisis in far-flung areas.

24 hour energy supply possible in remote areas
Russia has named the floating nuclear power unit after one of its scientists, Academician Lomonosov. The technology is developed and operated by Rosatom Company. This company is present in Pevek city of Russia. This area is considered very cold and in winters the mercury falls here to minus 24 degree Celsius. This area is also known for its mineral deposits. With the help of FNPP, energy is supplied to the city of Pevek. With the help of FNPP, Russia is supplying energy to Siberia, one of the coldest areas in the world. 24 hours power supply is possible in these remote areas with FNPP.

Unparalleled FNPP technology from the point of view of security
Andre Zaslavsky, executive director of the Floating Nuclear Power Plant, said that FNPP technology is completely safe, it has changed people’s lives. Andre said that FNPP technology is also safe for the environment and it also has a safe process for disposal of nuclear waste. Also, there will be no damage to the unit of FNPP in Tsunami and Earthquake. In the year 2020, Russia produced 127.3 million kilowatts of electricity with the help of this technology and in 2022 it increased to 194 million kilowatts.
