Uttarakhand: Congress MLA had told Mazar Jehad that the action of beating Dhindora, BJP said – Sumit wants to increase vote bank by doing politics of appeasement

Issuing a statement, BJP state spokesperson Vikas Bhagat said, the meeting of Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is going to prove to be a milestone in the development of Uttarakhand. He said that Uttarakhand is moving forward under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vande Bharat Express is the beginning of a new era in the state. He said, earlier no one had thought that the train would go beyond Rishikesh. Rail was a dream for the people of the hills and earlier governments also did not work on it, but now with the interest of Chief Minister Dhami, the dream of Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line is going to come true soon.

BJP spokesperson said, PM Modi has once again shown his special attachment towards Uttarakhand. In the field of roads, the state is going to touch new dimensions of development with the Parvatmala Yojana and all-weather road projects, which will stop migration and bring back beauty to the mountains.

Vikas Bhagat has also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the survey of Tanakpur-Bageshwar rail line and the assurance to start the work soon. Also expressed happiness over the assurance of starting new train service from Haldwani, Ramnagar and Khatima.

He termed the statement of Haldwani MLA Sumit Hrideyash as unfortunate, in which he has described the Mazar Jihad as a propaganda action. He alleged that Sumit is working on a strategy to increase his vote bank and to promote appeasement politics. Congress governments have got such illegal encroachments done in the forests, it is bound to make them feel sad when they are removed. He stressed that in the government of Chief Minister Dhami, under any circumstances, the Mazar Jihad will not be allowed to continue in Uttarakhand.
