“Chouhan” told the opposition parties to boycott the inauguration of the new Parliament House, a gross insult to democratic and constitutional values.

The BJP has termed the boycott of the inauguration of the new Parliament House by the opposition parties as a gross insult to democratic and constitutional values. Party’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan alleged that the Congress has crossed all limits in opposing Prime Minister Modi and has also come down to opposing the temple of democracy. He said that in the last 9 years, the opposition did not pay any attention to the parliamentary procedures and disrupted the sessions of the Parliament along with walkouts. This gross disrespect of the opposition towards the Parliament is enough to expose their narrow mindedness. This behavior of Congress is like contempt for democracy.
Chouhan said that it is unfortunate that the opposition is playing politics on this subject related to the honor of the Parliament and the intention of involving President Draupadi Murmu in this whole issue is a part of its low-level politics. Apart from this, his act is a direct insult to SC, ST, tribal society and constitutional head. This new Parliament House has been built by 60,000 Shram Yogis in record time, whom the Prime Minister will also honor on this occasion.
Chouhan tried to link it with politics and termed it as against the constitution. Congress has been trying to create hurdles in every constructive and development work in one way or the other.
He said that Congress should give up the habit of creating controversies on every subject for political purposes and contribute to nation building by doing positive politics.
