He released the coin and postage stamp at the inauguration ceremony held in the Lok Sabha chamber of the new Parliament House. According to the notification issued by the Department of Economic Affairs under the Union Finance Ministry, the weight of the coin will be between 34.65 grams to 35.35 grams. The notification said that on one side of the coin, there will be an image of the Ashoka Pillar in the center, on one side of which ‘Bharat’ will be written in Devanagari script while on the other side ‘India’ will be written in English.

This coin contains 50 percent silver, 40 percent copper and 5-5 percent nickel-zinc. The diameter of this coin is 44 mm. The year 2023 is written just below the picture of the new Parliament House on the Rs 75 coin. Ashoka pillar is also made on these coins. Along with this, Sansad Sankul in Hindi, Parliament Complex in English is written. Bharat in Hindi and India in English are also written on these Rs.75 coins.
