President Murmu arrives in Uttarakhand on a 3-day visit, attends the convocation ceremony of Patanjali University in Haridwar

President Draupadi Murmu arrived in Uttarakhand today on a three-day visit. Chief Minister Dhami and Governor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh welcomed the President at the airport with a bouquet of flowers. She then departed for Haridwar. President Draupadi Murmu attended the convocation ceremony at Patanjali University in Haridwar. She attended the ceremony as the chief guest and presented degrees and medals to the students. In her address, the President said that it is a matter of great joy that 64 percent of the medal winners today are female students. These daughters will bring glory to India. 1,424 Students Received Degrees
Patanjali University administration reported that 54 students were awarded gold medals, 62 PhDs, and three D.Litt. degrees at the convocation. Furthermore, a total of 1,424 students were awarded degrees, including 744 undergraduates and 615 postgraduates.
